Paris
Paris is the fifth largest city in the European Union, the capital of France.
The city is conditionally divided by the River Seine on the right bank (commercial, business part) and the left bank (cultural, educational part). Paris is one of the most important financial centers in Europe. Of course, this is one of the most beautiful and romantic cities, which you have to experience in person to understand.
There are numerous architectural monuments: the Eiffel Tower, Versailles - it is impossible to not satisfy your cultural hunger here. As one of the oldest cities with a long and eventful history, the city has its own problems: traffic jams, dense population, endless tourists, and the environment. The government of Paris continue to try to improve the ecological background of the city: industrial enterprises were removed from the district, water treatment works were carried out, trees were planted.
The problems of noise pollution and transport exhausts remain. About 14% of the population are visitors. Most of the population is engaged in the service sector. Paris ranks third in the world, after New York and London, among the cities that form the global information space. The French are an open and courteous people who love their history, antiques, and refined cuisine.
