IT jobs in Warsaw
For candidates from local area, with relocation or remote-based
Warsaw
Warsaw is the capital of Poland. It is the largest city of the country in terms of population and territory, divided into two equal parts by the Vistula River.
The symbol of Warsaw is the mermaid. There is a popular belief that the title of the city was a combination of the name of a fisherman named Wars and a mermaid named Sawa, whom he married. Also, Warsaw is often called the second Paris due to the many ideas and trends that develop there. Having adopted the freedom-loving lifestyle of the capitals of Western Europe, the city reminds tourists of Berlin. Most residents are cultured and can readily speak English. Furthermore, the older generations can often speak Russian. The city transport network works well but intercity trains are often delayed. However, in just 2-3 hours, you can reach the sea at Gdansk.
The Poles are extremely politically active and like to financially support people who find themselves in difficult life situations through funds and special organizations. Yet, most importantly, according to a recent research, more than 80% of residents admitted that they feel happy and satisfied with life. This is one of the highest rates in the European Union.
